Default Sunset Designs Jiffy Stitchery crewel kit help needed

About two months ago I adopted three Sunset Designs Jiffy Stitchery
crewel kits from the local Sally Ann. They look to be part of a series
of oriental-influenced songbirds and flowers, published in 1980. One
was partially finished -- _Hummingbird and Azaleas_ (#488CH) but the
remaining wool and floss was missing from the kit. I want to finish it
but need some help in tracking down how to get more fibers for this old
kit.

Any ideas?

Thanks kindly.

Cheers,

hi laurey -
it's valerie
did you ever do anything with that unfinished cat I sent to you?
at the moment I am without any projects, but am definitely looking
around.

wish I could help on the match problem - I have quite a stash - wish
you could see it and prob. find what you need.

The Siamese or the tabby? I've adopted several unfinished kitties. I
finished the Siamese and have it framed in a silver colored frame with
roses on my stitching table and the tabby is draped nearby, awaiting my
finding the perfect frame. Both have done wonders for my kitty
obsession. ;-

Cheers,

The tabby. I think I had done the background in pale pink. You could
always frma it with a round mat in a square frame.....glad it brings
you joy - it only would've made me sad, it looked so much like a cat I
had and lost to diabetes.

I am looking for the kit with a white persian cat and I think there is
a lot of green in the background. Do you know the name of this? Want
to do it for a friend - she did it but gave it away and I KNOW she'd
love to have kept it. I have seen it on ebay, but now that I want it,
can't find it - isn't that always the way...
