Default Ot combining Embroidery as ready made parts

I have a friend who uses Old embroidery as `ready made Jewelry` to
combine it into /under and over her work ,,, she cuts parts as she
`feels` them and than embroiders more , adds more ,, it is a fantastic
work ,,, 1001 little dreams explode in every part of her lavishly
embroidered works . mirjam

Mirjam, I'm trying to imagine this.....what do you mean by "old
embroidery"?
Your friend's techniques sounds very intriguing as I love the idea of
embroidery and embellishments.

A designer friend of mine, Kimberly Crum uses needlework specialty
stitches & threads combined with unusual charms, beads and such to
create amusing and quite decorative "jeweled" brooches.
