I think alot of people eliminate staircases because they take up so much
room. My friend made tiny "closets" with doors on it and said they were the elevator shafts.. I made a ladies' boutique, and made a faux door with a sign that said "Ladies Room" (of course!) leading behind a "blind" wall. No men's room necessary, of course.
