It would appear that the body found is that of my son, but they will not
consider it 100% until they check dental records. So absolute identity will
still take a little longer. Talked to the deputy coroner yesterday about
it.
But he was wearing the clothes he had been wearing, his wallet was
intact with the money that he had to start with and he had undoubtedly been
laying there for quite some time. So all of the sightings were just wishful
thinking all along.
Apparently he had tried to go back to the place where the truck had been
disabled and he couldn't find it and just laid down to rest and never woke
up.

Marlys, I can't begin to understand the pain you and your family must be
feeling right now, but I'm sending you my very best thoughts in hopes
that that pain will be somewhat bearable. {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}

Oh Marlys, I'm so very sorry.
You have been marvellous throughout this dreadful ordeal. Telling us
with this quiet and dignified note. As the others have said, we must
all be comforted by the thought that there was no violence involved,
other than the cruelty which nature sometimes hands out. You can forget
all the thoughts that he 'wanted to disappear', that he lost his mind,
and all those other things. He was tired, he lay to rest, and God took
him to safety.

Marlys, you and your family continue to be in my prayers. I'm so sorry that
the outcome wasn't the one we had all hoped for.

Oh dear Marlys,
I'm so sorry it came to that. I can't even imagine how you feel. I
think of you and your family and my heart wrenches.

You are all in my thoughts,
Mary Ann
