Default Thanks for prayers and good thoughts

I am sitting at my computer for the first time in three weeks. It
feels good but I know I won't last long. I am feeling much better but
am still building strength. Yesterday I walked in the yard for the
first time seeing all the plants our early spring has brought to life.
It felt wonderful!

I had my iPad with me in the hospital so was able to communicate with
a few of you personally. Still haven't figured out how to access RCTQ
from my iPad. Brain is still a little fuzzy for details like that.
Computer is down a half flight of stairs from the family room so I
won't be running down here often. It is nice to have the iPad
available in the family room.

Next Tuesday I will see my surgeon and hopefully receive permission to
start rehab. In the hospital they said I would be out of commission
for about three months except for rehab. They kept me in the hospital
an extra week because my blood pressure was so low. That is looking
better as I gain strength.

Thank you for all of your prayers, good thoughts and cards.

It's great to hear from you and to know you're recovering! Keep in touch
when you can, but don't overdo.

Glad to hear you are picking up after the ordeal. Once you start
getting bored with 'rest' and doing everything 'steadily' (=slowly!)
you'll know you are really on the mend. Take care. No point in rushing
it.

And isn't it wonderful not to have a vampire come prick your poor fingers
every two hours, especially when you might be able to nap? Polly
