Default report on stitching night - stash enhancement

Last night was Stitching Night at the Stiching Post in Catonsville,
MD... a great LNS. Pizza for dinner, plus cookies, cupcakes, chocolate,
and stash enhancement. Mucho fun!

I was pretty pretty restrained in the retail area - bought some needed
threads and treated myself to a couple of pieces of fancy linens to
"play" with (ornaments or bookmarks or whatever) and two little charts:

JBW's French Country Noah's Ark:

and
"Sheltering Tree" by All Through the Night

Might be able to do those charts on some of the linen scraps I bought. I
think I'll do the Noah's Ark over one and make it a small
hanging...something to decorate my office.

Those little JBW designs are a really hot item at my LNS. She says it is
hard to keep them in stock. I have to go there tomorrow to take in a
piece for framing..........maybe I will get persuaded!!

They are really good, quick pieces to do. And the French Country ones can
work up with such clever finishes - particularly soft finishes - and just an
overdyed thread, they look fab, at least IMHO. Nice onees, Sue.

Ellice - who just finished her seemingly succesful phone interview......
