Default Plans for a snow NH day

Is some serious stitching time. No school today because to the forecast
conditions for later today - ice/sleet. UGH

I do have some house work that needs to be done and some mending and mounds
of laundry. And then STITCHING. And reading (latest Marcia Muller) and some
fantasy gardening - I'm drooling over some yellow Siberian iris and a couple
of new coral bells that would suit the revised long beds wonderfully.

Did get to work on my purse project yesterday at DD's dentist appointment
and while she had hockey practice; it is an Australian kit of a yellow
flower and a paler yellow fabric.

Maybe today is the day those baby dragons come off the Qsnaps for ever!

Figures, I heard we expect snow tomorrow - can't you ever learn to
keep your snow where you're at Cheryl ????

We had ice today. I gingerly walked down the driveway
for the papers. Sun's out, starting to melt it as we go
up to 40. The trees are all now dripping.
Of course by the weekend we'll be in the single
digits with snow Thurs/Fri. The weatherman refused to
discuss Sunday's weather. Go Steelers!!!

I've gotten the Xmas ornaments assembled, started on
Fractal 53 again after deciding I needed to do SOME
STITCHING, not just finishing. So the needle case awaits.

Off to make vegetable soup, read a few chapters of
William Least-Heat Moon's Road to Quoz and do
some stitching.

Same here. But because it flurried/sleeted/iced last night. Roads
dangerous. Concern that it's finally going to warm, melt, and then do it
again.

Hmmm - sounds pretty good = the fantasy gardening. Ditto here - laundry,
mending (DH got pinged 'cause his old ref pants are kinda torn, need to hem
new ones). And stitch. Fantasy painting of house and garden movement of
plants - dreaming if I actually get a real job then we can hire someone to
move some trees, etc.

Sounds good. I did a Cheryl, and stitched on my Mill Hill beads & buttons
Martini kit while in frozen ice rink.

Nice thought. I'm going back to work on a proposal piece I'd punted 'cause
we just found out the due date was not yesterday, but end of the month! Woo
hoo.

Have fun to all of us. Just made latte's for DH & I - so we can sit, and I
can stitch - when I go back downstairs.

I was surprised to see my daughter was on Facebook today, when I checked
in. She is in Maryland, just north of DC. She said she was "iced in" and
couldn't safely get to work. Nasty everywhere, I suppose. We had
tornado warnings and heavy rain yesterday, down here in Florida.

We didn't have much snow, but the wind blew like crazy and it was
waaaay below zero wind chills. I got 2 baptism cloths done, most of a
third and have one more to go. Then on to Carol Singers!

Saw you got them done.....congrats!!!!! Will be waiting for the
pics....

I'd love to but DM and DB would fight you for it.
Wasn't cold here but it still tasted good. Will taste
even better the second day.
