Default Noreen and I

I am writing today to bring closure to this issue.

I have spoken with Noreen about the similarities between her shawl
pattern and my own. With the latest update to her patterns page (at
http://www.noreensknitche.com/patterns/ ) I now consider this matter
CLOSED.

I greatly appreciate the support from the knitting community, even from
people I have never met. But I do respectfully ask that no further
action be taken on my behalf.

Noreen is planning on helping with Katrina relief efforts in
Mississippi, I am going to do what I can from here in Seattle, and I
ask you all to follow your hearts and help as you can.

Best wishes,
Emma Crew

Hi Emma,

Thank you so much for posting that the matter is closed.
I hope the Noreen will be coming back to here soon.
I am sending eight afghans to TX as I know they can use them.

Hugs,

Nora

To put my two cents in:

I did not expect that Noreen would respond in this way, regardless of the
circumstances. I wish her luck in her Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, and
I can see why so many people consider her such a dear friend.

I have known Noreen for a few years now and I knew that she would eventually
get things sorted out when she could manage to. I am not surprized at all
that she is helping out with the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts... that's
who Noreen is. )

Glad that all of this other stuff is over and done with.

Peace!

Thanks Emma, I am certainly planning to do something in one shape of
form. We will donate money through the Red Cross. The addresses posted
here are also a help and I have down loaded them for refference. Thanks
Nora and Noreen for this.

And I have, as well, respectfully requested those who were emailing and
name-calling on MY behalf, to cease as well.

And, I would like to add that Kathryn's two cents is worth MUCH more than
she thinks.
