My knitting SIL & her family sent me a knitting journal! It's exactly
what I need to organize my UFOs and WIPs -- contains envelopes for
swatches, spaces to paste the yarn info band, etc. Yippee! I'm always
losing those little scraps of paper where I jot things down so my WIPs
are always a hopeless mess. Bless her!

I think that I'll hint for one of them next year. It seems that everyone got
one this year, and you all seem to be thrilled with them.

Katherine

I think I am going to hint loudly about wanting a knitting journal as
well.

And then all I have to do is fill it out!

I confess, Katherine, that one of the items I am NOT going to be filling
in is the "Date Started"...

I think the knitting journal sounds great . I should probably start the
entries at stash acquisition to capture the reason I thought I had to have that
yarn.
I need to get a bit better organized - as well as needing to reduce stash
before acquiring too much more.

Definitely stash reduction is called for!

Judy, I have a feeling there's a resounding "Me too!" from the rest of
the newsgroup! Certainly from here...

Hi,

I bought an extra small calendar to keep next to my chair and I'm
putting down what I do for crocheting every day, that way I will know
when I start and finish an afghan. Done two so far this year, each took
three days to make. It's the first time I've kept track of what I've
done like this and I like it.

Hugs,

Nora
