"Scratch Resistant"?
Can anyone advise me on how to know whether a scratch resistant bezel
is really scratch resistant. The last several watches I picked up that were supposed to have "scratch resistant" bezels turn out to scratch as easily as any other watch. Evidently the term "scratch resistant" means very little. Are there name brands I should stick with to be assured that what I get is what I paid for? Thanks a lot. I do have one watch that was a gift that doesn't exhibit that problem.
But the watches I'vpurchased tend to scratch relatively easily. It isn't just the bezel. I also thought that "mineral crystal" was supposed to be more durable. Darren Harris Staten Island, New York. |
