Well, if you're good with feathers and if you're already pretty
familiar with free motion quilting, then get her new Volume 3 Fast and Free. On Wed, 26 Nov 2008 12:47:31 -0800, Sandy wrote: Ahhhh ... feathers! I do love feathers. I suppose it could be very useful to get yet another viewpoint on how to do them; I've only had four so far. |

That is lovely ! I like the combination that you used of the diff lights
and darks and colors , as well. Did you have to do a lot of planning for that? One of my guild members had a lovely sampler quilt, too, that had a good combination of values and colors and somehow I don't think I'd have the confidence in trying one. I might try something in EQ first ! Mary "Carole-Retired and Loving It" wrote in message ... There wasn't a lot of planning involved, since each month you didn't
know what your blocks were going to be. I just bought the fabrics that seemed to play well together and then looked at the block pattern, looked at the fabrics, and made a selection. It worked out pretty well. I did try to be sure my fabrics had some darks and some lights and some mediums so that I would have good choices.
