HUGs Delivered

We delivered the HUGs to my grandparents Sunday. They are in two different
locations, so it was a very long day.
Grandma, who has dementia, thanked me for the quilt before I left, which
made me happy that she remembered that I brought it to her. I embroidered
my name & number on the quilt....things do disappear at her care
home...she lost her glasses & they have yet to be found. Grandpa was
really surprised to see me...I said "you must be lost in the
area"....knowing I hardly make the trek out to the Valley. He loves the
HUG, and even asked me if I can take some of the money off of the quilt
(we were going for a money theme in his HUG). He also asked me to remove
his comforter & place the HUG on his bed...it was a perfect fit &
brightened up his room so nicely. He is sure to sleep well with all those
HUGs from all around the world!!!
I am so grateful that my grandparents are still around to enjoy the HUGs,
and I am so grateful to all the quilters that helped me by making these
HUGs possible!!!

it, they are both smiling inside!!
