I have a huge sack of mostly sheets that I wanted to give and could
find no one to take. They are heavy. Is there a most economical way to send? I really want to help more! |

If I had any quilts left to send, I would be sending them.

That reminds me..... the motel I work at has some stained bedding that we
can't use in the motel. I will see what's left in the box today. -- Mary (Idaho to Oregon via Montana) http://community.webshots.com/user/mardor1948 "Idahoqltr" wrote in message ups.com... : I have a huge sack of mostly sheets that I wanted to give and could : find no one to take. You are absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much. Right now, in Toledo,
Ohio, it is very cold. Although I know Louisiana doesn't get as cold as here, I hate to think of anyone being cold. Thank you again. They really could use sheets. I tried Fed Ex and they were more
expensive than the post office. It cost about 90 cents a pound I think. I wish there were a less expensive way of sending things. Sheets, pillow cases, bedspread, anything you can find is better than
nothing. It is hard to believe that there are still people without housing, but we knew that after the brunt of the storms, donations would falter. maryd wrote: If I had any quilts left to send, I would be sending them. |

Yes, it was shipped ground. Maybe it was a matter of distance (Ohio to
Louisiana and Ohio to Florida), I don't know, but it was more expensive than I had envisioned. klh wrote: Phyllis Nilsson wrote: They really could use sheets. I tried Fed Ex did you try fedex GROUND.
