CHOCOLATE! -- just to keep OT

Now that I have your attention, my king-size Quilt from Hades
is coming along nicely, but I have a question that I should probably
have asked before I began the hand quilting.

I'm using hand-quilting thread, but it still has a tendency to
tangle, especially after I've been pulling that thread through the
quilt many times. Is there a trick you use to make the thread more
cooperative?

Hope all is well with all of you; I'll be back for the answer,
and then return when the quilt is finished.
