Dianne, can't thank you enough for posting about A-Z of Embroidery Stitches.
Ordered mine from www.smockingstore.com in California and it arrived today.
What a fabulous book. I've just started going through it and there are so
many different stitches I want to try out. Even if I don't have a specific
use for them, I think it will be fun practicing how to do them.. Admiring
some of the beautiful embroidery you have on your site made me decide to
expand my needlework beyond cross stitch. This book should definitely help
with all of its beautiful stitch examples.

Isn't it a great book!

This book is so "special" for the introduction of stitchers to something
beyond what they are currently doing, no matter what that is. It lays
it out in such a way that it is easy to learn and lovely/enticing to
look at.

Originally, it was excerpts from their first year(s) magazines - their
stitch "how-to's" at the back.

I'm so very glad you like it. Remember: "Anything you do with needle
and thread improves what else you do with needle and thread." ANON
