I think you can if you bring the temperature up slowly.

Rocks will be fine at the 275 required for baking. An alternative if you
think a object won't withstand the heat is to press the stone into the clay to make a place for it, then remove and bake. after cooling use E6000 glue to adhear to the clay. Even paper doesn't burn at 275 degrees, so most materials unless they had trapped air pockets or water would be fine. "Darko Sever" wrote in message ... Hi! You should have no trouble with setting stones or glass or metal object into
polymer clay as it bakes at a relatively low temperature. The only trouble you would run into would be if you were using plastic stones as these may melt at low temperatures. Yes, you can put anything in it that will not melt. I usually put in
rhinestones, glass pebbles, pearls and other goodies into my sculptures: http://www.oken3d.com/html/indsculpt.html. The objects might fall off if you don't attach them with a bevel or something. If they do fall off after baking, you can just glue them back in place. -- Eni ----------------- http://www.oken3d.com Online Workshops for Artists: http://www.oken3d.com/workshop Weblog with tips on 3D, art, fantasy and other oddities http://www.oken3d.com/ezo "Darko Sever" wrote in message ...
