1cm seam??
If a pattern calls for 1cm seam, what size seam is that? Helping my
grandson make a mole (stuffed ground mole) for science class for extra points. He told me I could help him if I wanted. LOL..I guess this isn't off topic since somewhere a needle and thread is involved. Haven't decided if the sewing machine will have a part in this project or not since he is the one doing it. When my grandson was little, now a almost 6 ft. almost 15 year old, he use to sit on the floor and push on my pedal while I tried to sew. Oh the memories trying to sew and quilt with him around. That is a quarter inch seam--like in quilting.

Thank you for answering my question. A ground mole to me looks like an
over size mouse or on that order. When I have seen one which isn't often I usually let out a scream..I think they can cause problems for your garden and flowers..Actually I know very little about ground moles. Just know they exist and now will help my grandson make a stuffed one. Michele from Ohio |

1cm seam??
No one's mentioned a neat tool that would solve this and many other little
measuring questions. One of my sewing machines arrived with a metal ruler with a slider on it. It has inches (only 6) on one side and those mm things on the other. Mine is kept right in front of my SM and is great for translating measurements, checking measurements, marking buttonhole placement - it's a great little tool. Only costs $ 1.10 at Nancy's Notions http://www.nancysnotions.com/NNVia/v...e=&newWindow=Y I couldn't quite figure out how to show it to you - when you go there you have to ask for 6" sewing gauge. It will even help you hem a skirt but I hope you don't have to do much of that. Polly |

1cm seam??
Had one of these for lots of years. When I have extra time at Joann's I
walk around looking to see just what might be new that someone thought of. Barbara in FL |
