Default Silicone Baking Sheets?

Has anyone tried baking clay on those fancy-schmancy silicone baking sheets?
Just wondering if the items come out shiny like they do when you bake
directly on metal or glass.

Hi Barbara,

I just saw those silicone sheets at the store last week. I think they'd be
wonderful for cookies, but if you want to avoid the dreaded shiny spot, bake
on a sheet of plain white paper. Place your piece on the paper lined cookie
sheet just prior to baking so the paper doesn't leach too much plasticisor
out of your piece.
