Default OTOT--A birthday blast

What a lovely day! My birthday isn't till tomorrow, but today at work I had
the cake and the song and my co-workers got me a gift card for
TSWLTH--That's where I usually buy batting and muslin, so it's a godsend as
I go into my next quilt. The lady at work for whom I made the Broncos quilt
to give to her great-grandson now wants five more quilts. No rush, thank
goodness! And another lady wants a baby quilt for next month.

Went out with the gals from work for a glass of brew at Thunder Canyon and
it was such a treat to spend social time with them!

Came home to find a birthday present from a sister--Godiva chocolates and a
gift card for Barnes and Noble. And the crowning glory was a package from
my son containing a wealth of fabrics, chocolate, and a ton of pictures from
his last three climbing expeditions.

Meeting up with a quilting friend tomorrow for a good visit catching up on
each other's lives, a birthday lunch, and a trip to one of the LQS. I'm
taking that beautiful HUG to show her, she will enjoy seeing all the
beautiful blocks.

I feel like a queen!

Hoping you all have a great weekend!

I stepped past the happys to zero in on the gift of Godiva chocolates and a
gift certificate from Barnes and Noble. What a precious, brilliant idea.
I'll write that one down and use it for my sisters. Everybody feels special
with a chocolate gift and a good book (that we don't have to choose but the
recipient can get her favorite) is wonderful. A glorious idea, Carolyn,
thank you so much. Don't have to wish you a happy birthday; I think you're
doing that Very Well. Polly
