Chinese New Year Designs
Hello everyone
We have 2 great new sets celebrating the Chinese New Year. 2004 is symbolized as the Year of the Monkey. If you were born in one of the Monkey years, you are said to be intelligent, well-liked, and can have success in any field you choose. Lucky you. The Chinese Designs set includes monkeys, dragons, borders and a collection of lovely traditional Chinese characters representing good luck, longevity, health, happiness etc. The dragon designs are just beautiful. Unlike the negative connotations that the Western dragons have, of being cruel and malevolent beasts, guarding hordes of plundered treasure, the Eastern dragons are said to be wise and kindly deposed, symbolizing good fortune, vigilance, power and nobility. These are lovely, auspicious designs with which to adorn your clothing or projects. Also to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which is the time to clean out the old and turn over a new leaf, is the Marking Time set, 2 large Oriental Monkey and Dragon clocks. http://www.secretsof.com/content/99 Kind regards, African Sewfari at Secrets of Machine Embroidery with the free Winter Bonus set http://www.secretsof.com/embroiderytips |
