Default help with downloading ng messages

Ok, as you might see from my other post, I'm new here. I'm using outlook
express to read my messages, and would like to know this please.....
at the bottom on the left of outlook express it says for example "50
messages, 25 unread, 100 not downloaded".......my question is, how do I get
those 100 to download? I have tried several things. Anyone know?
Thanks
Diana

Welcome, Diana!

On the menu bar, there's "Tools". Somewhere on that dropdown list there
should be "Get Next [X] Messages". That should get them. If it doesn't,
those messages may well be somehow unattainable - just forget them and move
on :-). If that's what happens, and you want that message to go away, after
you've read everything you want to up to now, choose "Edit" then "Catch Up".

HTH,
Alison

Thanks Alison,
that seemed to do the trick, they were all old messages anyhow, so I didn't
need them Ended up being all the way back through september lol. But
it's good to know how that works anyhow.
Thanks for your help.
