Default "Pickles" on comic page features quilting

If your local paper does not carry the Pickles comic strip you will
have to check-out the following link. The grandmother featured in the
comic strip is a quilter sorting through her stash!

That's so true. The author seems to have some first hand experience.

I saw it in this morning's paper and loved it! DH read the paper after me
and didn't say a word about it, which really surprised me. Of course, he was
getting ready to leave for a day of golf, so maybe the part about
"obsession" was hitting too close to home!

I saw that this morning, too, Susan! Gave me a good chuckle to start the
day.

Sounds like my husband and me! Compared to his golfing obsession, my quilting
obsession pales! I have to confess, though, that I recently started golfing
just so we could spend more time together.

But has HE started quilting for the same reason?

The best he can do is pretend to"ooh and ahh" when I show him my fabric
purchases. He's still struggling with the concept of a stash! Poor man keeps
looking through my stash, picking up one piece of material at a time, asking,
"So when are you going to use this one? And this one? And this one?"
