"Pickles" on comic page features quilting
If your local paper does not carry the Pickles comic strip you will have to check-out the following link. The grandmother featured in the comic strip is a quilter sorting through her stash! http://www.comics.com/wash/pickles/a...-20030813.html Susan |

That's so true. The author seems to have some first hand experience.

I saw it in this morning's paper and loved it! DH read the paper after me
and didn't say a word about it, which really surprised me. Of course, he was getting ready to leave for a day of golf, so maybe the part about "obsession" was hitting too close to home! Compared to his golfing obsession, my quilting obsession pales! I have to confess, though, that I recently started golfing just so we could spend more time together. kaila But has HE started quilting for the same reason? -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

But has HE started quilting for the same reason?
The best he can do is pretend to"ooh and ahh" when I show him my fabric purchases. He's still struggling with the concept of a stash! Poor man keeps looking through my stash, picking up one piece of material at a time, asking, "So when are you going to use this one? And this one? And this one?" kaila |
