Hi!

I know you have good knowledge of lots of suppliers. I'm too busy and
too tirded to start searching and comparing good sources for silver
wire. I'm going to my first maille-course, and we probably start with
half hard 18 gauge wire. So, what I'm looking for is a good deal from a
reputable seller and reasonable shippingfees to Europe.

Do you have any suggestions?

tia,
Johanna

The best place I found wire at the best price *which includes the
shipping charges*
is at http://www.artsupply.com - they're kind of expensive on other
items, but wire
is at a great price (free shipping within the US- you'll have to check
international
prices), You can also buy just about any amount at a time that you
would like.
Hope that helps.

Hi Johanna,
See the silver wire at Pasternak Findings:
http://www.pasternakfindings.com/ind...=Silver%20Wire
Their service is excellent. Just ask them for the annealing level you
want (dead soft, half-hard, or hard) and they'll have it for you at no
additional cost. They ship all over the world with very reasonable
fees (if I recall correctly, it's less than $10 per shipment).
Good luck with your course!
Sarit.
