I think I'm ready for a change. I have a Judy Niedemeyer (SP?)
pattern for a table runner that is calling my name right now!

p.s. Thank Goodness football season is here!

Those are so pretty, Joan! I wish I liked to appliqué. sigh I'm going
to have to do a tiny bit of machine appliqué very soon, though, since
our 4-month-old DGD needs a Christmas stocking. It should sort of
coordinate with the ones I made for her brothers a few years back, so
that's where the appliqué comes in.

whos up again before sparrows fart and i am not amused, 6:15am whats the
point?

Ok, I'm reading way too late again. I just read that as:
"yes now beaks would be lovely, Joan." and it made perfect sense
because birds have beaks and would look odd without them.

And now I'm off-----------To sleep, perchance to dream
of batik beaks and "jet propelled" sparrows.

rofl, nice one, Debra.
i have a bird with a beak made out of organza ribbon.
i just folded it over a few times it was dense enough.
two last folds were on the diagonal to one side making the beak, inserted
that in the right place when i backed the bird with interfacing in readiness
to applique to a background.
works a treat with his lovely 3D yellow beak.
hmmm, were his wings and/or body done in batiks tho, hmmmm.
hope you had a lovely sleep.
