Ex from Hell has him?

I send you all the calming energy I can, and to Merc all the healing power I
can.

He's on his way home from the hospital now. So anything I could go do is

moot
at this point -- he's in That House. (Ugh!) Though I was planning to be

at
the hospital today, all afternoon, sitting in his cage iwth him (if he

hadn't
been going home).

]Can you simply go and be with Merc at the hospital?

Yeah, and the cop/power/humiliation card is a big mean nasty one.

Sooz,

I have an ex just like yours. Play the way the papers say for now. But

if
you find a good attorney, maybe he can put a stop to his visitations for
now. I only worked in criminal law. I wish I could be of more help.

Since
this is a "property case" not sure what to tell you.

Sooz - I am so sorry to hear that you are hurting. I think kathy is

right -
You should just stand firm, take Merc home with you and make your ex go

to
court. What else could he do?

I think the vital piece of info here that no one knows but me is this:

We
have
papers drawn up to determine who gets the dog(s) and when, how, why,

etc.
So
it's been agreed-to, on paper, and signed.

Wish I could do more.

Aww, Sooz, I am so sorry.
Hoping that Merc turns the corner on his pain real soon.
Love ya,

I am in tears. I just talked to the vet/surgeon, and Merc has been crying

all
night (they have overnight staff) and all day. He is such a quiet, stoic

dog
-- not a crying baby -- and if he's crying through all the morphine.......

It's killing me.

I am reconsidering and may decide to go to court. This is breaking me in
pieces. He isn't just a dog -- to me. He trusts my ex-husband and his

wife to
take good care, and they don't. I can't let this go on.

Kevin can't really help me -- conflict of interest -- and he's on a

desperate
deadline right now. I gotta figure out what to do.

Yes, and as we keep passing the vibes, they grow stronger and more positive
and healing.

Linda, don't you dare! I cannot IMAGINE the crap you've been through

this
year. I would be living in a padded cell if I were you. You save your

vibes
for YOU! And I'm sending you some too!

Love you, darling, but the vibes are coming. I can spare some for poor

dear
Merc and for your frazzled self. Let's just keep them circulating amongst
all who need them, sort of a traveling vibes package.

Yes. And I had 20 years of it already -- I don't want to fall for it

again.
It won't benefit me to do so in this situation....too important to me.

We'll
see what happens....am doing research now.

Ack... your ex is a COP? Hoo boy...

since Merc's an item, not a person, if I just
took him and kept him, I could end up in jail -- or without rights to see
Merc
myself. He's a cop

Yes. I think you are right on in your assessment here, tho it sucks that it
works this way. I will pray that your ex gets bored and busy and "dumps" Merc
on you. (try not to look ecstatic if he does)

Awwwww, hon Sorry to hear this. I hope Merc starts feeling better soon,
and in the best of all possible worlds, that you can even get him back.
This stuff just should not happen

It sounds practical to me, and focused on a good outcome the
health of the dog.

When your filters are down, there is no question about it: Anyone who
participates in a process that hurts you that bad really does deserve
to get slugged... and there are no inhibitions against assault in your
psyche at the time to stop the impulse.
