Well, however it grew, it's lovely.

Thanks Pat! The batting is regular Hobbs Heirloom, just lots of quilting.
Not a real floor, but looks like it could be so I put it in that file. And
it just created itself -grew on the design wall until it was done :-)

No marking is good marking IMO. It's all free motion in the middle, plus
some straight-line diagonal grids over the little squares. First I outlined
the flower pots and added a bit of flower and leaf detail, then filled in
with feathers and squiggles, then the grid all around.

I'm with you, Roberta! I hate to have to mark before I quilt. G Great
job on that quilting, BTW!

RZ: I might be up that was in Nov. Please email me
before you come over. It would be fun to meet for a
quick cuppa! PAT, a couple hours south in VA

Oh, that Garden Tiles is just right for this time of year. If you visit to
MD/DC/VA area again, be sure to visit the Basilica at the (Catholic)
National Shrine. There are some really fantastic floors there. Marvelous
mosaics on walls and ceilings, too.

Look at the last photo in the Mosaic Floors album. (Hope Jessamy's
reading,
she sent me the scraps!)

Just beautiful, Roberta! As are the other quilts in the album. :-)
