I don't think acrylic would work the second way, although there are polyester resins ("deco-pour") that might. Either method would produce a piece of jewelry which would be liable to get scratched easily, due to the softness of the plastic. You might do better using a piece of glass to cover the picture, or something even harder, like synthetic corundum. Watch crystals would be a good covering for your photos, and they come in various materials, including artificial sapphire.] Andrew Werby www.unitedartworks.com |
