Default borax

Hi Everyone,
When a glaze recipe calls for borax, is that the same thing as what I
can get at the grocery store called 20 mule team borax in the laundry
department?
Thank you for any help you can give me,
Sandi

I always thought it was but I don't know what additives might be in the
laundry version these days. Someone has written up a page on using common
ingredients in your glazes but I can't find it at the moment.
