Wallpaper questions - which order for the walls?
I hung wallpaper in one of the rooms... looks great. I ended up
wallpapering to acid-free cardstock first, but a relatively thin cardstock. I let it dry overnight, then wallpapered that to the walls. The cardstock disguised my wiring sins beautifully, and added a bit of stiffness to the paper so that it was easier to get it into place, all without adding too much thickness to the walls. It also allowed me to make sure the fit of the paper was near perfect prior to using any mucilage - because it allowed me to custom fit and do a dry run first. Now, here's my question - I used the brush and painted the mucilage to the walls - first one side wall, then I put the paper there, then the other side wall, then that paper, then I painted the mucilage onto the back paper, and put that up on the back wall. How do you keep the mucilage from oozing out onto already done walls? It didn't happen too badly at all, but I wondered how other handle that. Cathy Weeks |

A small square of cardboard box will squeeze out the excess but be careful
and keep it dry. If you print out your paper, it will smear. "havana bill & holly" wrote in message ...
