"Pat Porter" wrote in message ... Mine are in a pretty Whitworth`s tin - that copper coloured "special" one that few across the Atlantic to me! All my Watercolours threads are in a pretty gold Marks and Spencer biscuit tin, and other speciality threads are in a red and gold Thornton`s Special Toffee tin. Pat P. Whycome *I* never thought of storing floss in tins? I have a bunch of them, all empty, none used. I shall change that this weekend! Thanks for the thoughts, Pat! |

Angel of Kale would be very frilly and colorful. Now if we are designing to fit the "you are what you eat" adage, I must create Angel of Spud. "Might as well face it you're addicted to spuds..." How about Angel of Chocoholism? *snip* making specially shaped chocolates - they're delicious - but to date they're all historical monuments, or similar. Hmmmm, I wonder if I could do a Chocoholics Angel? Not a shameless plug, but open to suggestions ;^) ellice I wanna Angel of Biblioholism! Well, maybe you'll get one! But, do you do NP, or only Counted Thread? ellice I much prefer counted thread. I'm the local Lugana Snob. Darla Sacred cows make great hamburgers. |

Darla Wow - I never knew a Lugana Snob BG Unfortunately I know lots of Linen snobs - you know - "my count is higher than your count" LOL Well, I'm likely getting some software to do some Counted Thread designs in the fall. Being a MAC person, software more limited, but had some good advice from Jennifer at Dragon Dreams, and when I make the plunge, maybe I'll do the design with chocolates in the packaging - or part of the embellishment pack. Embellishment for the stitchin' and the stitcher. Oh, I do lots of counted thread myself. Mostly linen, some Jobelan, Lugana - I think they're faster to stitch on because of the roundness of the ground threads. ellice |
