Default My Daughter's Room pics

Remember I showed you the "Funky Stars" quilt I finished for my daughter
recently and I was re-doing her room while she was away (as a surprise)......so
here are some pics if anyone is interested. She was totally surprised and loves
it.......whew! The girls faces on the wall can be decorates with jewellery,
photos, etc. and the thing on the wall that looks like negatives (which I'm not
sure you can tell that in the pic) are to put photos in. The back wall behind
her bed is very slightly darker than the other 3 walls, but it is very subtle.
Anyway, if you want to take a peak it is in the Lorraine's Quilts 'n Things
folder, the last couple of photos on page 2 and then all the photos on page 3.
These were taken a few hours after she got home, so unfortunately they were not
first reactions, but I thought I'd better get some pics in while it was still
tidy. Then of course we have the big poster of the heart throb of the moment.

I love the color of that room. I'm sure she was thrilled. You did a great
job.

Great job, Lorraine! No wonder your DD loves the new room -- she's
awfully cute, BTW, and so is the QI! G

Lorraine, the room came out really cute. I still can't think of Jesse
McCartney (the boy on the poster) as a sex symbol. I watched him for
years as a snotty little rich brat on All My Children (soap opera). It
makes me feel really old when someone I think of as a child is suddenly
grown and a poster boy for pre pubescent girls. I like his new song,
though. ( Beautiful Soul)
