Default Wet Sanding...

i do my wet sanding by hand. I presoak the paper, wrap it around a scrap
of old sponge and then place my elbows comfortably on the table, sit up
straight and then go to it!

Nurturing doesn't end at birth: breastfeed, co-sleep, babywear.

There is a very fine line between a hobby and mental illness.

I may be needing to do some wet sanding with 600 grit or higher to
'rehabilitate' (mostly flat surfaces) some unsatisfactory craft coating work
I've been having difficulty with. Though I've never done wet sanding before,
I've just realized that none of my various electric sanders will be of any
use to me here, even though I fully expect it would be a lot of time and
patience consuming 'grunt work' to accomplish entirely by hand. Therefore
I'm open to recommendations a la suitable air sander (i.e. for a 'wet sand
novice' on a budget) to shop for; E.g. what's good value in
manufacturers/models? And which type to prefereably go with: rotary, random
orbital, or jitterbug? (There's no exposed wood grain of any kind to be
sanded.)
Thanx,
Sodah

PS: This NOT an autobody/paint project.
