Yay, glad it got there. Nice stuff, eh? I have plenty of projects
clamoring to be next but having dug out the sock yarn I'm thinking I
need to finish the mates to some singleton socks that are creeping
about...

I had a doctor in the emergency room the other day comment on my socks. She
says she always has second sock syndrome. She said that it was okay, as she
took them to the amputee clinic and they still got good use!

Yeah, it's real nice! I've been drooling over it for a long time but
have always just gone with Regia or Trekking. Both of my not-so-local
yarn shops (when it takes me a half hour of freeway driving without
traffic to get there it's "not-so-local") carry Lorna's, so it's on my
shopping list the next time I venture to one of them.

With me, I know that if I don't start the second sock the moment the
first one is off the needles it'll never get done, which is why I
immediately cast on for the second one. I finished another pair last
night and immediately cast on for another one; I'm going to a football
game today and will have time to kill before and during the game, and
I'm sure a few of my friends will be surprised by the sight of me
knitting g
