Default Just busy...

....painting orders for pendants and beads, beading, singing, and generally
enjoying life. So I'm mostly reading the group and reading and responding to
all my emails.

On an OT note (no pun intended!), I'm looking forward to a chorus retreat in
a couple of weeks. I'm making some nice friends. I've offered to make a
piece of jewelry for the forthcoming fundraiser. Good promotion.

On a flattering note, a customer that I helped in the fabric shop the
other day phoned me yesterday and asked me to do the embellishment on the
hem of the dress she's having made. . When she called, I invited her for
lunch and offered to decorate the dress for fun. I like her a lot and since
trimming dresses is not my usual field, prefer to do it as a favour for a
friend. She's coming over on April 1. She already bought some narrow black
feather boa and I'm thinking torn tulle and a scattering of beads as well.

I'm trying something new with my painting; a Peace Rose cut out, not painted
on a heart or any other shape. I'm able to to cut my own shapes now and it's
given me a lot of creative freedom. Also painting a new kitten design. Pics
very soon.

I ran out of amethyst beads so haven't yet finished my free form peyote
cuff. I'll get some more on the weekend and hopefully finish it off.

I have more ideas then time at the moment... LOL!! Moving to NZ seems to
have given me new enthusiam and inspiration.

Wow - sounds like a "good" busy though! Glad that NZ is working out so well
for you. It can be amazing what a move can do.
