Default Hug List, Directory and Facebook

There's a difference. Maybe it's progress, maybe not. But here's the
deal - being in the directory does not put you on the Hug List. Being on
the Hug List does not require that you be in the directory.
If you would like to participate in the directory and exchange happy
little gifts and cards, Karen is diligently trying to put one together.
Join in if you like.
K Groves is the keeper of the Hug List. Hugging does not require fine
quilting skills, plain signed hug squares are welcome to add to the love.
As to Facebook - many of our gang have wandered off to there and I have
timidly been 'sitting in'.
All that to say, rctq is QUITE alive and well. The last posting that
Jenx did of whatever I was stitching, may have been the little blue shirt
for our great grandson - has received nearly 3,000 hits. Okay. Only 2,890.
We've sure got lotsa lurkers.
Come join us. We are mostly harmless and won't steal your identity. We
don't even know what to do with the one we've got. You only have to love
quilting. Doesn't matter if you 'can' or just want to. Polly

Since this is RCTQ, there is no "like" button, but I can say "amen!"
instead?

Personally, I FB a lot, but for quilting, I prefer to stay right here :-)

i'm reading both most of the time, tho i do miss some stuff now and then.
sometimes i just dont know what to say so i say nothing.
what Polly says is accurate as far as i know.
we are harmless....
well unless you count that one time back in about 2000 when a few got a bit
tipsy and had the cops asking them about various needles they were carrying
and we had to rally round and come up with bail to get them back on the
straight and narrow but other than that kind of episode we're really very
harmless.
um, unless you bogart the M'n'M's while hiding under the cyber quilting
frame or get caught feeding the QIs standing guard during a cyber stash
raid.
....and must stand aside when a bunch of members make a rush en masse at
Houston Quilt Show. i think thats all tho. see, pretty harmless really.
running and ducking for cover before Ms Polly smacks me upside the head for
being a snot-nosed little brat again )
