I was amazingly good. Didn't spend $50 all day including lunch.
(forgot about gas! drove 150 miles at 26 MPG--- you do the math)

Good for you!
How much did you "pay" for it -- that is, what did you buy at the featured
shops? veg

Last weekend nine shops in our area had a quilt shop hop. The theme
design was the bear paw pattern. Each shop made a quilt using the bear
paw pattern interpreted in the style of the store. The quilts hung in
the stores all fall to advertise the shop hop. Some quilts were very
traditional and some were very bright, just like the fabrics carried
in the store. If you had your shop hop passport signed as you visited
all nine shops you left it with the last shop which entered you into a
drawing. I won a quilt! It is about 60" square with bright fall
fabric bear paws on a black background. I had just mentioned that I
didn't have a fall quilt to hand in the living room. Now I do! There
were many other merchandize prices but I am very happy to have won a
quilt.
