Back to Stack -n- Whack

Well I am back to learning this Stack -n- Whack method. I believe I
would have been better to do the 6 instead of the 8 point stars... but I
am doing pretty good at it right now I have 6 blocks completed. Not all
the centers match but they are very close and with very few tee-pees.
And those that have, they have not been difficult to straighten out.
I know now that I will be able to get a good feel for this in the very
near future. Because of all the mis-cuts on this one it is really not
stacking -n- Whacking as directed. I am using as much of the mis-cuts
as I possibly can. This one will definitely end up as a holiday gift
for one of the young kids in my family. Most of them have not received
their own quilts from me yet. (other than baby quilts). And a few of the
blocks that worked out smaller because of the mis-cuts I can make into
matching pillows.
By the next attempt I am sure I will have it right.
