I once lived in Citrus Height off of Antelop Road and 80. 77-79. Yuck!

We just put in a black sink when we did our kitchen remodel. You can tell
if it's dirty. I wondered too, but it was apparent almost immediately. Our
sink is granite - I don't know if that makes any difference. My husband
insisted on the black sink - I thought I'd prefer stainless to go with the
appliances, but it looks really nice with our counters, so I'm happy with
it.

It always starts looking like a house when the framing goes up.
How exciting. Was fun to see your photos. I hope you keep
posting them. One question, how do you know if a black sink is
clean? I don't think I ever saw one of those before.

Linda,

Your kitchen tile looks very similar to the tile we just put in our kitchen
& family room. I was resistant to tile - I wanted wood floors, but I'm
happy - so far. Plus, it'll be so much easier to keep clean. We also put
it in our entrance way. I love all your choices - you're going to have a
beautiful house when it's all finished. How exciting!

Taria,

This a out of a material like a corian product. No chipping, scratching
or staining. Hopefully really easy to care for.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
Looking forward to watching progress.
Isn't the internet great - can't believe I can sit here and share the
excitement of a new house being built thousands of miles away.

I really is amazing. My parents in NY can watch the progress and this cuts
down on the questions. Linda

Thanks Pauline. I did put the wood in all the other "public areas". Carpet
in the bedrooms and the dining room (which will be DH's Study). My Sewing
Room at the back (Study at the back with Bay window) will have wood floors.
I really can't wait to be able to clean up with a quick broom and not have
to fight with the vacuum. More photos as they come.

They are beautiful. I have always had a bright white sink so
wondered about the dark. As long as you can tell it is clean
I am amazed at all the neat choices these days.
