OT - Hey Sheena part 2

Hi Sheena - I finished the Gellis book last night. Good read, historical
details are good, but I dearly hope Gellis is not setting up Ms. Borgia as a
detective. I really hate it when real historical figures start solving
crimes.

Is it one of a series ? Or is that not known yet ?

As yet unknown, but I suspect it is. I'd really rather a good retelling of
her life.

There were several biographies done for her 500 th Anniversary last
year. One was exceptionally good. I didn't read it at the time and
now forget, seems to me a woman wrote it.

I may have to go looking - she had to cope with some interesting relatives
that used her like a pawn in a huge chess game. Political machinations of
then make today's down right tame.
