I'm working on it. It's part of the remodel. I have all my fabrics put
away - most of them are behind glass & they look so pretty Last night, I
put my books away. Tonight, I'm sitting in front of the TV, going through
my magazines. I have a spiral notebook & I'm sectioning it off A - Z & I'm
making a note of projects that aren't quilts that I'd like to make. I
really like pin cushions, so I'm writing down what issue a pin cushion
pattern is in, same for tote bags, table runners, red work, etc. All those
odd ball things that would take me forever to find.

I hurt my neck yesterday, so my DH isn't allowing me to move around a lot,
so it's a perfect project for the next couple of days.

I have pictures of my kitchen, but haven't taken pictures of my sewing room
yet - will do as soon as it's complete.

I did have a perfect day today too - we met with a Professor of Veterinary
Medicine up in Davis - he breeds Brittany Spaniels, which is what we're
getting. He had a basket of 4 week old puppies - my DH said he thought I
was going to P I M P, I was so excited to see them. We spend almost 3 hours
with this wonderful man. He really educated us about the breed & invited us
to come up & field train our pup if that's what we want to do. We won't get
ours until the 8th, but it was so great to have a puppy fix today! And to
play with his other 8 adult dogs! Even my DH heart was melting - he'd never
admit it though

DH took pixs every day with the digi camera and it sure was worth it. Came
in real handy when we were putting the shelving up in the Butterfly Studio
this past winter : ) The pix are on the compie (and on the saved disc). Just
finished categorizing them as to what each section is
(electric/plumbing/what room the studs are in /etc)

Linda,

Small bit of advice:

Take some detailed pics of the plumbing and wiring in the walls
(maybe with a tape measure for reference) before the sheetrock
goes up. Then, put those pics somewhere where you can actually find
them 15 years from now when you really need to know where that
cold water line runs.

Happy house raising,
Janet of Gar (who took the pics, but has no idea where they are)

Our house inspection went very well. Phew! I was so nervous all day. So it
looks like it will happen for us. I have the apartment lined up, and my
DD's BF will be getting us moving boxes for free! He has a friend that
designs boxes and point of sale stuff. Later this week I start to pack.

Terrific news, Linda! Now, do be careful packing the wine, won't you?
