A nice surprise..

Today is my birthday and the UPS guy brought me a gift certificate and two
catalogs from "The Patternworks"....wasn't that nice.

Beautiful yarns and wonderful ideas...I think I may be busy all Fall and
Winter. (G)

Have any of you bought from them ? The catalog looks great.

Thanks, Norma. I had a really nice day. As luck would have it,
they delivered my new monitor too...


I got a 17 Inch, LCD (G) It's really amazing. I can see an entire web page
now....everything is big and bright. Much improvement over my little old (7
years) mini-monitor.

Yep, Patternworks is one of my favorite places to buy yarns that I can't
get locally. They're wonderful in terms of service, too. The only
problems I've ever had was when I placed an order for a large number of
balls of yarn, and they didn't have enough in stock and weren't going to
be getting any more of that particular yarn for a couple of months. I
sent back the card asking them to just cancel the order, and no problem.

Sounds good to me.

Their online catalog doesn't include everything in the printed catalog -
or at least it didn't when I last ordered from them earlier this year -
so if you decide to place orders online you should use the "Comments"
section, or whatever they call the blank space for things like that, and
enter the item number, description, and how many you want.

Enjoy! I always give out a cheer when I get my new Yarn Paradise in the
mail each year.

They sent me two catalogs and the gift certificate card in a nice purple
folder I can use to keep track of orders, etc.

Shopping is even more fun when it's "free".....LOL
