How to emove rollagraph rubber from wheel
A while back several people said that they had removed the rollagraph rubber
from their wheels. They sait that they were getting alot more use out the stamps after having done this. Well, I think I want to try doing this. My question is what method did you use to remove the rubber? I know how to remove rubber/cushion from wood mounts by using the microwave. Does the microwave method work on the rollagraphs or is there a different method? I don't want to just try the microwave w/o asking for fear that the plastic wheel will melt or give off noxious fumes. Could anyone who has done this give me some tips on this? Thanks, Karen |

I had a friend who did this and she says that as far as she can remember,
she was able to just peel it off, as the glue holding it was not that tight. Haven't tried this myself. |

I personally haven't done this before. I have read on other boards where they
used the microwave method and it worked. What about trying Un-Du? It is supposed to work on all types of adhesives without damaging your pics - so it seems logical to me that it wouldn't damage your stamp. ~Donna~ SAHM Val Gal 16, Wendy Woo 13, Seany 9 5 years of Stamping Bliss |

I havn't tried this myself or know of anyone who has- but maybe a hair dryer
could loosen the glue without melting it as it doesn't typically get as hot as heat guns. I have heard people use hair dryers on vinyl and linoleum flooring to loosen the adhesive in order to make repairs to the floors. Good luck, Cathy "WKT" wrote in message ... I just peeled mine off. There is a cut in the rubber where the ends meet, I
just peeled it up and pulled it right off the wheel. -- ....^,,^ Toni ^,,^... The smallest feline is a masterpiece. ...Leonardo DaVinci "Helen" wrote in message ...
