Default Net Security

The amount of instances returned to any particular mail box is directly
related to the number of infected machines that have your address (or
url if you host your own site)... anytime a person that your address
anywhere on their system be it in an address book, a link on a web
page, or a save document that has an address in it... the viruses search
for the "@" sign...that is how(e-mail viruses) they replicate.

If any particular system is infected... every time the viruses is
executed you will get another message trying to spread the virus...
i.e., many of the episodes you are reporting is most likely the SAME
infected sys.

There is a very simple way for anyone using outlook express to never
have to worry about getting a virus via e-mail...

First... be sure there is no viruses running on the system.... get the
latest version of OE... now there are two settings that need to be
checked to be 100% safe... first CLOSE THE PREVIEW PANE (this is very
important)secondly make sure the security setting prevents the opening
or executing any attachments that may contain viruses or worms.

If you make sure both these precautions are taken you do NOT need to run
an anti-virus software package like Norton etc that drag down
performance levels and slow production... always run a NAT or software
firewall to close all vulnerable internet ports ... there are over
65,000 unique ports available to any system that is online... and 95% of
them can be used to get into your computer....! here is a list of them:

Prudence is the best prevention to internet bugs...
