I recently purchased some of their patterns, while not for the beginning
knitter, the designs are lovely and the patterns well written.

DA, did you know that there is a yahoo knitalong group for White Lies
Designs? Now, with the support group here and the group there, I might
feel comfortable enough to order and start that Bella pullover that I like
so much.

The group is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WLDknitalong

I'm doing ok.
Have had a busy summer of doing a whole lot of " nothing" as my husband
puts it. He was off on training with the military , so I stayed home
with the kids and spent his money ( grin) on craft fairs and festivals
around the area. Someone has to do it , so I thought this year I would!
I have been knitting and crocheting up a storm, I have made thre pairs
of socks, a couple baby bibs, a few purses and I am down to only 5
UFO's at this time ( I think).
I have a fringe benifits sweater in raspberry that is just too big to
knit on in the summer , same with the ruana that I am making. I have a
fair Isle poncho going and a baby blanket. Hmmmm I know there is
something else in a project bag but for the life of me I cannot think
of what.
Other than that , I have an interview this Friday for a position at a
shop her ein town , kids going back to school and Hubbies home so I
think I should go back to work too. We will see how it goes. I have
also been asked by the LYS owner to teach her how to do free from
crochet. I have to get with her on when this will happen.
I have been reading the list , just haven't been posting lately. I hope
to post more in the near future.

Thanks for the update, Coggie. It is good to hear what our friends have been
doing when they haven't been here. g

I love their Secret Garden Ladies Vest. My MIL tells me I am no longer a
"beginning" knitter, so maybe I'll put the kit on my Christmas list and try
my hand at it.
