what to do w/ old tatted edging?
I have several old handkerchiefs with beautifully tatted edges - but
the body of the hanky is literally full of holes. What can I do to recycle the edging? The fabric where it's attached is still in pretty good condition. thanks for any ideas.

(2) Unpick the the tatting where it was stitched to the original fabric (3) Make some new hankies and add the tatting. Use it on collars, cuffs, or pocket edgings. Place it on the diagonal on a plain pillow. Dianne

Applique it on a shirt
make them into a wall piece double only the body of the hanky. mirjam I have several old handkerchiefs with beautifully tatted edges - but the body of the hanky is literally full of holes.
