Default baking "clay"

The grandkids wanted to make clay figures. Having 8 grandkis who could make
a figure a minute was a bit expensive so we settled on non-toxic play-do
type "clay." they had a ball, cooked it about half an hour at 250. Made tons
of ornaments which they will now paint and decorate. We bounced more than a
few off the floor, of cours and only one broke. Only problem was that if it
was paper thin, it would break easier. And, oh, we baked em on aluminum
foil. the stuff smelled a bit, though. . My daughter informed me after the
fact that she has done the same thing with "clay" she has made from a flour
recipe. Darn, could have saved the money I spent at the Dollar store...
