Making the Connection as a Jeweler
Develop your skill in design and start a small jewelry line as a
professional. The class will cover technical issues, design, and
presentation as well as working with vendors, dealers, various craft
shows, and more.

Fused Glass on Metal
For jewelers, metalsmiths and artists in all media, a new approach to
enameling for non-enamelers. A unique opportunity to learn an ancient
technique filled with vibrant color merging traditional methods with
cutting edge innovation. Class instruction will include methods of
combining this medium with other art forms. Supply list is mailed.

Make a Ring that Fits!
Learn to cut, size and solder a ring. Class will address the
wearability of rings. Students can expect to make at least one
finished ring. Soldering experience is helpful but not required.

Tool Making for Wax Carving
Create your own tools for wax carving. Students will give old tools
such as burrs, files, damaged screwdrivers and other instruments a new
life
as original custom fit tools for carving and modeling wax.

Enameling Marathon
Immerse yourself in the world of enameling for three days of
creativity and fun. This innovative workshop is geared to enamelists
of all levels. Beginners can anticipate a hands-on sampling of several
techniques and more advanced students may bring in projects to work on
while broad-ening and enhancing their enameling skills.

Clasps - All Levels
Learn to fabricate your own clasps that go along with your handmade
jewelry. Learn how to make several different hooks, a tube box clasp

Epoxy Resins and Plastics for Jewelers
Bring color into your work through epoxy resins and plastics. In this
fast paced workshop students will learn how to create a color pallet
that can be incorporated into their work.
Class will also cover casting epoxy resin, cold enameling and the
manipulation of Plexiglas
and rubber mold making. Materials fee: $20.
