Erin it is in Dutch , in an not so widely read publication , at the
time i got a copy , put it on my shelf. When i started translating all
these documents i added it to the pile with Historical evidence
documemts... I also have some published books, which have details like
that ,, it is fantastic stuff .. esp as i have not much info , every
bit counts ...

Oh, that is SO COOL!!! I don't suppose it's possible to get a copy of
this article?

Anyway, Happy Holidays everybody!!!!! Whichever ones you celebrate, I
hope they are nice and you are together with family and friends.

The most facinating part here are of course the parallel histories ,,
several people who have been at same place , but tell it differently.
When you say Social History, i automaticly think about my late Great
aunt who was an Anarchist,,, [ and whose house was my first house
after WW2. I learned a lot from them [ her and her mate ] . One of her
sons wrote an article in a moovement publication, where amongst other
things he tells about Emma Goldman visiting their house when , he
gives a description of her and it pleased me a lot..

Well, I am an Archivist with a B.A. degree in History and Anthropology,
so *I* think it's pretty darn interesting!!!

In all fairness, though, History is often so poorly taught in schools
that people become totally turned-off from the subject. I had a U.S.
History teacher who destroyed my interest in my own country's history.
The man was a football coach/teacher and was extremely IGNORANT and
didn't like that a skinny little girl knew more than he did! :-(

I think your project is GREAT, Mirjam! I wish I could read Dutch but I
think it is too far from English and Swedish for me to understand very
much.
