Default PING - Rachel Locks of Love

Rachel, could you email me? I can't figger out your addy/spamblocker.

I have some information emailed to me from Locks of Love. Locks of
Love offers synthetic hairpieces for children with short-term hair loss.
Rebekah's family could be able to get a hairpiece for Rebekah for free,
or at low cost, depending on their financial circumstances. After an
application is sent in to their board of directors, the turnaround time
to receive a wig is about 2 weeks after they pick out the style from a
catalog.

I'd like to forward you the email they sent me. If you think that
Rebekah's family would be interested in applying, email me please.
Dunka.
Linda

My daughter has been letting her hair grow so she can donate it to Locks of
Love. I'll have to tell her how LofL may be helping someone we "know".

GGG

My daughter donated 11" last year. I was so proud of her. I suspect she'll
be able to donate again soon, her hair grows so fast.

When I got my hair cut a few months ago I made sure I went to a salon that
donated to Locks of Love. I felt better about cutting over a foot of my
hair for someone else.

I've been growing my hair out for Locks of Love, too. And, I talked one
of my friends into getting her hair cut when I get mine done. I
figure by September it should be long enough I can get the 10 inches cut
off without fainting.

I felt the same way about my hair. I might even cut it again and donate
more I can't keep it out of my face right now anyhow because putting it up
hurts to much.

When I had my hair cut in April, I donated 16" of braided hair to
Locks of Love. It's really made me feel good about cutting my hair,
besides the obvious happiness I had about getting a new style. I
hope that they were able to put my hair in a wig for a child, and
that the child is happy with his/her new hair.

I really wish I could do this. My hair will not grow past my shoulders, and
I barely get it cut every 6 months or so...

:-/ wish I could

I did that two years ago... my hair was down to my butt and I whacked
it. Right before I met Moxley. Turns out that the hairdresser I went to
was HIS hairdresser! Wierd.
