Thursday evening was our guild's challenge -- the one for which I made
one of our Pat on the Hill's designs (it's this one
http://www.sandymike.net/html/paperpieced.html#Baravelle_Spiral). I
knew right away that I wanted to make this, so it's been finished since
April. G Anyway, we had the voting on Thursday, and my quilt placed
third in the pieced category! I now have a lovely gift certificate to
spend at my LQS, and I think I know already what I'm going to be looking
at.

Thanks, Pat, for a beautiful design!

What beautiful work - and I just love the colours. Your quilting is
amazing.

Omigosh, Sandy! That is beautiful! Many congrats on your win! There
must have been some very steep competition for you to have placed third.
It looks like a first place quilt to me!

Enjoy that gift certificate. :-)

Thanks, Michelle! The competition was actually pretty steep. A good
friend of mine took first place, so I was delighted for her.

Well. Let's see. What can I do to be reasonable about your beautiful
creation getting 3rd place? Putting my 'all huffy' attititude aside, I
know! I hereby award you Viewer's Choice. No matter what the competition,
you're the winner with us. Wow. That is just gorgeous.
So there.

One begins to wonder how large an annexe you'll need to showcase all
these winning quilts. Congratulations again, jennellh

Just lovely Sandy! Pat's designs are such a delight to undertake; I
must do another one this year.
Congrats on the prize. Well done.

Cheers
